Hey people, just a short question: What is the image file preback.jpg good for? Because it appears behind a video i posted in my blog today > http://2tonic.wordpress.com/2008/09/04/nobody-said-it-was-easy < It’s nothing big .. still it’s bugging me. Help please. Thanks. ;)

You mean the extra border with the column of numbers? It’s what shows up when you use the command for embedding code.

@mdlc, it appears as if you have placed the code for the video into the [sourcecode] short code – at least that is what it looks like.

@thesacredpath: Actually he used the code button of the post editor (shows so in the source code of his post). But I find it interesting that this way he managed to have flash code work instead of getting stripped out.

I embedded the video like indicated on the link thesacredpath gave me .. it’s still not working. I’m confused.

mdlc, I took a look at your draft post and you had the dailymotion shortcode wrapped in html code blocks. I removed those in the HTML editor. The video should be working now.
