What is purpose of Blogroll category?

  I am creating a blog for my guitar lessons. I don’t understand what purpose of the Blogroll category is. I plan on creating my own categories based on types of lessons, etc. What am I supposed to do with Blogroll?

  Most people use blogrolls to show off the sites they like, the ones they want to be associated with, or to keep track of the sites they go to every day, so they’re only one click away. You can categorize your links as either Blogroll or something else: I use Blogroll and raincoaster media group, and put my own sites under the media group category. This separates them from the rest of the blogroll and bunches them together. You might do this for, say, music book companies.

  Just like your posts, your links can be in different categories. That is how I use them! :)
