what is robots.txt and why can i not see a description of my website in google?

  hi there, i would like to find out why on google when you type in ellies soul kitchen, the display says a description is not available because of robots.txt. I am not technically minded and literally have no clue what this means and the forum talk about robots i don’t understand. I guess all i want is for a description of my site to come up properly, so how do i do this? thanks very much ellie. my website is http://www.elliessoulkitchen.com

  Hi there,

  It looks like you recently changed the privacy of your site from private to public. This is currently causing the block in the description on the Google search results. This should clear up within the next few weeks!
