what is RSS?

  hi

  Please let me know, how a RSS system can help in the website? is it a type of earning or what? what is it? tell me in detail.

  Its a way for people to get notified instantly of a new blog you (and everyone else they’ve subscribed to) post, or comments to it…..all fed into one place. It acts kinda like an email inbox with a short intro…..if you want to read more, you click the link. You can subscribe and unsubscribe anonymously without giving out email info..so the spam issue is foolproof.

  If you regularly read 20 blogs, you could click on each link, to see if a new blog had been updated…..or you could subscribe to all 20 RSS feeds, and simply click ONCE on your RSS reader…..it will do all that for you.

  Thanks for the information too … however, how we actually can set up a RSS 1 in our blog, especially wordpress.com. Dont really know how to do it.
