  • Hi,

I’m not sure that I understand your question. Can you give us some more information about the problem you are trying to solve?

    Hi folks,

I don’t believe the “Search Results Title Block” can be used in a static page or single post. A search results page is a dynamic page that has no editor. By default, the title of a search results page is Search Results for: “search term”. This special block evidently allows you to customize that default title, but I suspect that its use would applicable only to the Site Editor. I think search results can also be customized with CSS.

Presently, there is no support page for the Search Results Title Block. However, someone has recently put in a request at GitHub for the creation of an article on the block.

I was going to call for staff attention to the topic, but they’ve already arrived ahead of me. Perhaps staff can provide more detailed and updated information regarding the Search Results Title Block.

  • You’re right, @musicdoc1. This block is meant to be used on templates like the Search Results one, and it’s a recent addition to the Block Editor.

Our documentation team will add a support page in the near future.
