What is the ACTUAL size of a featured image?

  I’ve read several forum entries on featured images, but nowhere does it tell me the actual size (or at least the ratio?) for featured images – this means that many of my featured images are cropped horribly. Can anyone help?

  Featured Images sizes vary by theme, so you need to check your specific theme’s info page for image sizes:

  https://wordpress.com/themes/twentyfifteen/

  For Twenty Fifteen, Featured Images are 825px wide by 510px high.
