What is the best featured image size for the twenty fourteen theme slider

  I have been trying to figure out what the best image size that will work best with twenty fourteen theme slider. Does anyone have an idea?

  This theme recommends featured images that are at least 1038px wide for the slider. You can find this, as well as further guidance on using Twenty Fourteen here:
