  I want to add text to my photos eg a poem and then upload it to WordPress. What is the best way to do this? Can I add text to a photo while it is on a post in wordpress

  Hi there,

  Are you interested in adding captions below your images? If so, please take a look at the following link:

  Working With Images

  You’ll notice that you can add captions both when you Add Media in a Post/Page, or from the Media Gallery file editor.

  If you’d like to add text to the actual image file, you can do that in photo editing software such as PhotoShop, or with a free, online editor like http://pixlr.com/.
