What is the best way to mirror my website in Spanish?
-
I have a blog for my nonprofit organization at http://www.tiafoundation.org that is hosted by WordPress. Though we are located in the US, our projects are performed in Mexico. I would like to set up a mirror site of the English one, but translated into Spanish. I do not need translation services; I can do that myself. Would it be best to have a new and separate blog hosted by WordPress or create it within my current blog? Or do you have another suggestion?

One way would be to create a second blog and post there is Spanish and the other blog English. If that is too much work or difficult, you can always provide the following link in a text widget at the top of your sidebar:

Wow, Trent! That is a very cool link. I should have known about it. Thank you for the quick response.

Oops! One more question. Until I get the second blog created, I would like to put that link in a side-bar text widget. I checked the FAQ, but can’t seem to figure out how to do the code. I would like it to say: “La Fundación Tia en Español” and point to the address you provided above. Sorry to be so ignorant about how to set this up! Thank you for your patience with me.

You can also use altra vista babel fish… http://www.altavista.com/babelfish/tr Ideally Word Press will include this link as a widget…

Keep in mind that both can have “lost in translation” results. They are only meant to give the general idea (you get what you pay for). English/Spanish shouldn’t be as bad as some, but it still may give humorous results.
