What is the difference between “Referrer” and “Incoming link”

  An incoming link is someone linking to your blog, a “referrer” is someone clicking on the link. An incoming link doesn’t do anything to your “blog hit” stats, but when someone clicks on that link and finds your blog then you’d get a hit.
