  I am considering the wordpress.COM business plan, but I need to be sure it can do all the things I am needing:
  -Will I be able to embed sign up forms on my website? (Apart from subscriber pop ups. More like forms to sign up for webinars?)
  -Will I be able to host discussion forums on the business plan with .COM?
  – Can I create a log in function, so that certain pages on the website are only accessible to people with an account on the website?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello!

  One of the many benefits of the Business Plan is it’s ability to use plugins. There are plugins for just about anything you can imagine. Sign up forms, discussion forums, access control, chat… currently 51,150 plugins available for Business Plan subscribers!

  You might be able to do that with one of the contact forms we already support on free sites. See:

  Forms

  But if those don’t meet your needs, you would be able to use plugins for other types of forms on the Business Plan, as @joerepublic indicated.

  WordPress.com Business Plan sites can use the bbPress and BuddyPress plugins, and any other WordPress forums plugin should also work. Just note that any members on the forum would be required to have their own WordPress.com username accounts in order to log in.

  – Can I create a log in function, so that certain pages on the website are only accessible to people with an account on the website?

  That type of functionality can be obtained through membership plugins, or as an extension to a plugin like WooCommerce. The better membership plugins tend to be premium plugins, though, so there might be additional fees you need to pay directly to the plugin developer, depending on which plugin/service you use.
