What is the difference in using the evenbrite theme in WP .org and .com

What is the difference in using the evenbrite theme in wordpress.com and in a seld hosted site.

I have my blog here in wordpress.com that uses Evenbrite as theme and all of the features are included.

However I am creating now a selfhosted site and uses the eventbrite theme again, I got the error in connecting my site to an eventbrite account.
When I look to widgets, evenbrite widgets are not also there even though I have installed already the theme. What is the problem?

    Please help me. Thanks

I don’t what the differences are. I do know that we cannot use any themes coded to run on WordPress.ORG software on WordPress.COM blogs and visa versa. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your self hosted site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features and run different versions of some themes with the same names http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

Thank you so much for your reply, so far according to my research, not all themes in .com are available in .org especially those new themes for such reason maybe they are still working on it that’s why it is not yet available.

    Thanks anyway

That’s correct. Not all themes are available in both versions and in this case I cannot locate a WordPress.org version of that theme.
