What is the DNS record required to point my WordPress blog to my Wix site?
-
Hello,
I have a Wix website, and a WordPress blog.
My site domain is registered in GoDaddy and managed within Wix.I’d like for the address blog.domain.com to point to my WordPress blog.
I tried to manage my domain and add the subdomain blog.domain.com to point to my WordPress blog (loomai.wordpress.com) but it did not work.
When I contacted Wix they told me the following: ‘Contact the host of the external resource/site (e.g., WordPress) and ask them for the DNS record required to point to that resource/site.’
Can you please assist?
Just to be clear, I want users who go into the blog to still see the address as blog.domain.com, I don’t want the URL line to switch to loomai.wordpress.com. I just want the content displayed to be the WordPress blog. Thanks for your help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Can you post the domain name in question?
You said it’s managed within Wix, that means, you’ve pointed your name servers to Wix’s. Correct? If so, the DNS record changes will have to be done at Wix. it requires creating a CNAME record; their support should be able to do it for you.
You also have to add a $13 subdomain mapping upgrade to your WordPress.com account.
In the end, blog.domain.com CNAME should be pointing to loomai.wordpress.com.
