What is the 'Enable mobile theme' option doing?

    Hello,

    I can’t seem to find an answer to this seemingly easy question: What happens when I turn on ‘Enable mobile theme’ in Appearance/Mobile?

    Does a new mobile stylesheet get loaded or can I expect other changes?
    And more important: when I turn it off after, is everything restored to it’s original state?

    I would like to temporarily test if the mobile theme is worth using (on our outdated ‘Enterprise’ theme) or if it’s better to either change the theme or moving to a self-hosted solution.
    Since there is no staging environment or other way to test outside of the live site, I need to make 100% sure any resulting disaster can be instantly be restored.

    Any idea anyone? Nobody knows what happens when Mobile is turned on?
