What is the entire width of a page in pixels?

  Hi,

  May i know the length of the page in pixels? Does it varies for people with different screen setup?

  Do you want to know width or length? You mention both.

  Width varies from theme to theme. There are also some flexible width themes here that adjust to browser width. There are also some “reactive” theme designs that have a maximum width, but are designed to change and adapt to smaller screens and will look good on a desktop monitor, tablet or smart phone.

  Length of pages is dynamic and depends on the amount of content.

  My bad, i thought they were both the same.

  I guess i wanna know the width. full length width of my theme, ‘on demand’
  How do i tell which category my themes fall under. the ones that you mentioned

  On demand is a “fixed width” theme which means it does not adjust for varying browser widths. The main width for the content area (sidebar and posting area) is 980px, which is about the widest you want to go right now on fixed width themes. There are still nearly 20% that are on 1024px wide monitor resolutions and 980px gives enough room for scroll bars and browser window borders.

  Reason I’m asking is because I want to create a footer image that spreads across entire length of the page.
