What is the IP adress of my blog miracleworksfilm.wordpress.com

  hello,
  I need the IP adress for transfering my blog to a new domain I already own. I have contacted the hoster of my domain and they say I need the IP adress.
  Thank you very much for your help.

  Hi there,

  WordPress.com doesn’t use static IP addresses, so it isn’t possible to point a domain to a single IP address to use it with your blog. Instead, you will need to change your domain’s name servers to these:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  Hello, I do not want to spend $13 for Domain Mapping. Is there no way around this? I simply want to redirect the domain, leave everything else as-is.

  If your domain registrar offers the option to redirect your domain to your WordPress.com address https://miracleworksfilm.wordpress.com/ you can do that instead. Your domain registrar will have more details about whether they can do this. (However, since your WordPress.com site doesn’t have a static IP address, the redirect can’t rely on an IP address for that.)

  However, if you want to use your domain name with your WordPress.com site (so your domain name is what appears in your browser’s address bar when you visit the site) you’ll need domain mapping for that.
