What is the maximum comment length?

  I want to know whether there is a maximum comment length, and if so, how I can change it.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  There shouldn’t be a maximum length to how long a comment can be on your site. In theory, a comment could be many many paragraphs in length. Have you experienced otherwise?

  Thanks for answering. Actually, a visitor to Can Writing Be Taught said she must have exceeded the permitted length because all of a sudden the whole comment disappeared. My new blog, College Composition Weekly, is going to invite longer comments and I just want to be sure people will be able to comment at any length they choose. I’ll get a friend to try to paste in a long comment and make sure all is okay.

  Sounds good! Let me know if it doesn’t work for some reason. I just pasted a comment in a test blog that was 12 paragraphs in length, and it appeared to work correctly!
