What is the pingback approval process and its effect?

  With two new posts today I provided link to pervious posts on the new posts’ subject, then received e-mails stating “New pingback waiting approval” etc. Is there a tutorial to help me understand the Approval/trask/mark as spam choices and their effect?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you put pingback in the search bar above you will find many questions and answers on that subject.
