what is the point to categories if you don't post them accordingly in topics?

All reasons for non-appearance of posts on Topics pages can be found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts
If none of the reasons for non-appearance there apply to your blog then type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help first. Then subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond. To subscribe look in the sidebar of this thread, find the subscribe to topics link and click it.
Lastly, provide the URL of the posts in question so Staff know exactly which categories and tags pages the post is not appearing on.
