  what is the purpose of “link category” and how to use it. My blog : surmrit.wordpress.com

  So that you can divide your blogroll into different sections like My Other Blogs, Business Sites, Funny Stuff, etc.

  Link categories are for your blogroll. You can organize blogs you like into categories.
  So you could have separate lists of links to blogs about painting, about sculpture, about design, or about photography. (or whatever categories you like)
