what is the simple way to export a blog?

export is not working, over an hour now, I don’t have all night this needs to be happening, what is wrong with the export. You need to provide more info, how long it will take for starters not just Your export is being processed!
A download link will be sent to (email) when the export has finished. Absolutely unacceptable and no contact either, just a forum, absolute joke. Not a good advert for WordPress which I otherwise rate highly.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you experience any kind of error message then post exactly what it states into the thread that is already tagged with modlook in the sidebar of the thread for Staff followup.

Not being an instant process is fine timethief, however not knowing how long it will take OR is taking is another. I don’t think it’s doing anything, it’s been ‘stuck’ for hours… Your export is being processed!

How do we know if it’s processing or stuck/locked?
