what is the simplest way to verify my website to google?

  i want to verify my website to google but it faifs everytime i try,i tried different ways but cant work out,

  It can sometimes take Google an hour or so to see the verification code. If you have set it in the Tools section of your blog’s Dashboard, try verifying again.
