What is the symbol "Aside" mean? How do I get rid of it?

  There is a symbol that is labeld “Aside” just before a title of a story “An Evening to Remember”, that I have published. What is it for? Should I get rid of it? How do I get rid of it?

  Hi Tom,

  The Aside icon indicates that post was composed with the aside post format. Your theme doesn’t use post formats, so it only shows to you in the back-end list of your blog posts. Since your theme doesn’t use the post formating, the post cannot really be changed unless you change themes to one which does support post formats, however again this doesn’t really affect anything on the front end.
