What is this: Referrer en.wordpress.com mean?

I’ve noticed this, en.wordpress.com, today in my stats referrer list and I’m a bit confused.
Can someone tell me what does it mean when you see en.wordpress.com as a referrer in your stats and it shows the numbers listed from en.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ and en.wordpress.com/post/?

No, I didn’t comment on a post in this blog en.blog.wordpress.com. I am not familiar with or understand what en.blog.wordpress.com means? Is this a blog? I guess I need to know exactly what is this.
Nor was my blog linked to a post in that blog that I know of. I only know that I linked four related articles from Zemanta in a post on my blog the other day and the views seem to be consistent with the views shown in the en.blog.wordpress.com referrer.

Okay so I clicked on the link http://en.blog.wordpress.com and it led me to WordPress.com News, a blog I am following. So now I know what blog that is.
Is it safe to assume someone who may be following the same WordPress.com News blog clicked on a link from the reader that may be linked to my blog?
