I have a receipt for this plan, but when I follow the link to the blog I created (https://uplandweb.wordpress.com/) and then click ‘My site’, I am taken through several steps and asked to pay for a ‘plan’ again. How do I get moving without paying again? Thanks, David

If you have a receipt already, I guess that you purchased the annual subscription of the Personal plan for uplandweb.wordpress.com already. The Personal plan is one of the paid plans that WordPress.com provides us. If you don’t know what the Personal plan is, please go here and check what benefits you can get from the plan.
But if this has been done unwantedly, you can cancel and get the refund through “Manage purchase” page.

What I want to do is edit and/or add a blog to what I have already. I do not want to start again, since I have already paid for something.

Are you sure that @devedara is the account which is associated with uplandweb.wordpress.com? Is it possible that you have another account that you created uplandweb.wordpress.com on and purchased the personal plan?

Thank you for your help. I have not made my problem clear.
1. I click on the link on my receipt for WordPress.com PersonalPlan. (https://uplandweb.wordpress.com/)
2. That takes me to the blog(?) which I thought was the website I thought I had paid for.
3. I clicked on “My Site” and got the response “Create Site” which led me to a place to pay again.
So, how do I work with the blog/site “Compost & Grace” to edit/create a site I can add blogs and post to Facebook, etc? Thanks -

If you see “My Sites” on the top of left part, that means you are already signed in with a WordPress.com account. But it’s possible that the account is different from one that you created uplandweb.wordpress.com with and purchase the Personal plan.
Do you remember the exact account you created uplandweb.wordpress.com? If you remember the account, you can access to https://wordpress.com/me, and sign out from the account you are signed in now. And then, you can sign in again with the account you created uplandweb.wordpress.com with. Finally, you will be able to edit and manage uplandweb.wordpress.com.

@davedava I can confirm you are logged into a different account. If you’ll log out, then log in again using the email address that has the receipt, you’ll find your account. If you want move your upgrades to this account, get in touch with us at http://wordpress.com/help/contact (after logging in you’ll reach chat) and we’ll help from there. Thanks!

Did remember that I had signed in under another email address some time ago.
