What is wrong with "New Post" button on the toolbar?
-
This is a reproducible error, and it cost me 1.5 hours of writing.
Here is what happens:
Click “New Post” on the Tool Bar.
Click on “Text”
Add a title in the title area and some text in the body area.
Click “Publish Post”.
The post gets published, but when you go to look at it, the title is there and the word count is zero.I am using Chrome 18.0.1025.162 and Ubuntu Linux (AMD64) 12.10.
(it also happens with Chromium)
This seems like a bug. As I mentioned it is reproducible. I can’t find it as a bug.
I think I’ve had problems with “New Post” on other occasions. I should just stop using it.
By the way, when I lost the 1.5 hours of writing, the revisions and some manual saves were happening all along, but all the recorded revisions were all also zero word counts. Gone, gone, gone and seemingly no way to recover what I wrote.
