What Is Your #1 Question about WordPress Plugins?

Hey guys just seeing whats going on in the plugin community. I have been using wordpress for over 4 years and have grown with it, creating websites and blogs.

I am in the process of developing a book on WordPress Plugins and would love for you to help me out by filing out this form: http://members.flycatchergenerator.com/takesurvey.php?nid=94

In return you will recieve a FREE copy of the product when I finish it. This isnt spam or anything like that, just want to know what WordPress users seek for in terms of plugins.

    Your help is appreciated!

    Uh-huh.

My #1 question about WordPress plugins is, “Why do people pretending to be experts not know that plugins are not used on WordPress.com?”

@raincoaster – maybe they should team up with the person that said “download the software from WordPress.COM”

I am sure it is not a full moon but I am beginning to wonder.

    Mercury is in retrograde.

    That must be it. ;)

raincoaster..i know they are not used on the .com version but I know most of you guys use the other one as well… just trying to get a broad range of responses here..sorry

Most WordPress.com bloggers do not actually use the other as well.

Many .COM bloggers aren’t even aware there IS “the other.”

many .ORG bloggers are not aware that there is a WordPress.ORG. They did a One Click install then started messing things up without reading ANYTHING, actually like many people here. I have long ago lost track of how many people I helped with a simple search that took me less than a minute – more time to write a couple of sentences than the search.

My personal favorite are the ones that want to move the site and we give them the info tell them to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and they come back an hour later, not having read anything but just changed the URL in the Dashboard and crashed the whole site.

jpgut, even for the wordpress.com bloggers who are dimly aware that wordpress.org, they won’t spend time reading the features for wordpress.org when they’re not going to use it. I’m speaking for myself.

If I’m going to read “useless” stuff, let me read a couple of novels or travelogues instead. I need to expand my horizons beyond wordpress world.

Life is short. Concentrate on what counts. And social media makes more demands on our time plus other stuff.
