What kind of header sizes/widget problems occur when changing themes?

    I am using the Twenty Eleven theme on my blog, http://ohmsweetohmdotme.wordpress.com/, and I am considering signing up for the Premium upgrade and possibly changing themes as well. Will I have to go into my old posts and re-configure header sizes and widgets if the new theme is different than the current one, or will that happen automatically when the upgrade/change happens?

    Hi there,

    For header, this depends on the theme, but you will usually have to prepare and upload a new header, because the dimension might be different from one theme to another.

    For widgets, your current widget will still exist if you change theme, but be put under Inactive Widgets. You will then need to drag these widgets one by one to the new theme’s widget area(s).
