What links are allowed in my blogroll?

  I would like to provide a link to my Associated Content page to allow my readers the option of seeing less opinionated articles from me. I read about one user that was banned for posting links to their articles in their blog posts, but I just want to add my About Me or CP page to my blogroll. Is this allowed on wordpress.com or will I need my own hosting?
