What makes a post "invalid"?

    Twice now I have completed posts and pressed the “Publish” button only to have the posts disappear. The first one reappeared in Drafts and then could be posted but the one I did a few minutes ago just came up with the message “Invalid ” and it has gone completely. I pressed the “refresh” button because nothing seemed to be happening and boof it was all gone!

    That’s a long standing glitch. Better avoid using drafts altogether: when you start a new post, write a couple of lines, set the visibility to private, publish the post, continue editing and updating, turn to public when finished.
