what membership plan I should choose

    Hello, I want to connect a domain name that I own to this WordPress. I’m getting taken to a sign-up page for the premium account, can do the personal account instead?

    You can certainly use the WordPress.com Personal plan if it has all the features you need on your site. :)

    I see that you already upgraded to the WordPress.com Personal plan and added a domain connection. The domain appears to be registered with GoDaddy. If you’re ready to point the domain to your WordPress.com site, please follow the steps here to change its nameservers.

    Do you have any email services active with the domain? If you do, you may want to do one of the following:

    1. Ask your email service provider to send you the DNS records and add them to the domain on your WordPress.com dashboard. Here’s how to manage your DNS records with us.
    2. Alternatively, you can choose our Professional Email service (which gives you the first three months free to try).
