What Next?

I have started a blog with wordpress – goodnewsdaily.wordpress.com.
Now how can this site be upgraded to accomodate revenue earning streams like adsense or text links etc.? There are so many upgrade options which one qualifies for opening the site for revbenue earnings?
I am a writer, so want to earn few bucks from my blog. Please help.

If you’re hosted here, the simple answer is you can’t. We can’t do adsense or the like.
If you want to monetize your blog you need to buy a domain, hire a host and install the wordpress software from wordpress.org.

Thank you katm. Once the domain name registered can we manage the sites on your own without a webdesigner?

If you host yourself, you can download a theme and tweak it to your hearts content. You can download and install whatever plugins you want.
Bonus points if you know html/css/php but not necessary.

IMO katm is correct. The best course of action for those who feel time is of the essence and want either
(1) a monetized blog or
(2) blog with absolutely no advertising
(3) complete control over their template
is to hire a web host and download the free standing software from http://wordpress.org.And as your questions have been answered would you please mark this thread “resolved”?
