What plan to get?

I don’t understand the difference between the business plan and ecommerce plan. Can I run my whole company effectively with the business plan? I already put a lot of money into ‘siteground’ and I really just want to get this started. Also, why did I have to buy ‘siteground’ if I still have to pay monthly for this?

There’s some confusion here about the 2 different versions of WordPress.
With the open source, community maintained, WordPress installation (.org) you do need to provide a separate host. In this case you chose SiteGround.
With WordPress.com, we are a managed environment, and include the hosting as part of your plan. You would not need SiteGround if your site was on WordPress.com.

My advice is to typically start with the most affordable option that meets your needs. The plan is refundable for 30 days, and it can be upgraded or downgraded at any point.
