What ports does jetpack use to connect to wordpress.com?

  I get an error that stops me from connecting to wordpress.com I was able to do this before I updated my wordpress software

  Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host. There are no HTTP transports available which can complete the requested request.

  Jetpack connects through port 80. Is that open?

  Yes port 80 is open.

  It’s possible that another plugin could be blocking it. Do you have any luck if you disable all other plugins?

  nope disabled them all and tried with no luck.

  What strikes me is odd is that this worked until using the new update.
