What program or version of WP do I need to use WP courseware plugin?

I have recently installed WP courseware. I need to have a hosted site for this and would like to know if I need to upgrade my WP account to be able to install this plug in. If I want it hosted, do I need to do this through WP.com or WP. org?

WordPress.com blogs cannot install plugins and there is no upgrade that provides that ability. To do that you’ll have to set up a self-hosted blog using the wordpress.org software. See here for more information:
