what registrars does WordPress accept?

Hi,
I registered a domain with GoDaddy but WordPress requires a paid plan to connect the domain name. What registrars are accepted? I found that WordPress doesn’t accept transfers of .co.uk domains, so I’ll change the name to end in .com
thanks

Hi there! You’re correct in that we’re unable to receive transfers of domains that end in .co.uk, but you can still use that domain with a site here on WordPress.com if you connect it instead:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/connect-existing-domain/The connection process means that the domain is still registered (and therefore renewed) via your GoDaddy account, but you can point it to our servers; with the paid plan then it can be set as the “primary” address too:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/set-a-primary-address/If you did want to register a domain directly through us, then you can find the list of TLDs (extensions) that we’re able to register here:
https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-pricing-and-available-tlds/I see that your site looks fairly set to go; was it just the custom domain that you’re missing? If so then I could suggest the Personal plan as an option:
Once the plan is purchased you could go ahead and connect your existing domain per the guide linked above; of course you could also choose to register a new domain too; you get one free domain registration with a new plan purchase (which then becomes a separate charge when it’s time to renew). Feel free to let us know if you have any other questions about using either your existing domain, or a new one!
