  I want to make any changes necessary to my rjpwriter blog in order that entry of my name in a google search does not refer people to the rjpwriter blog or any of its pages. I may want to blog at rjpwriter at a later date, though. What is a good option that would allow me to use the url at a later date?

  You do realize that the blog you refer to is well on the way to your name being indexed as “XXXX” unless you have ask search engines not to index your site
