What should I do with my old blog and the host?

  When I started blogging, I used a WP-MU host ‘blog.co.in’ to create my first ever blog http://iamgaurav.blog.co.in in Feb 2011. After 10 months of writting there, I deleted that blog and imported my all posts to my WordPress.COM site http://wpgaurav.wordpress.com . Now, I can see that my deleted blog is live and unfortunately I’m not the owner of the blog. My old posts are still visible there. So, Same posts at two places!! This will probably hurt my copyright policy and will decrease my Google Search visibility. What should I do? Contacting Blog.CO.IN didn’t do much!

  I’m afraid that your only hope is to get the previous web hosting company to delete the site for you. There really isn’t any other way really.

  I’ve again emailed them , hardly requesting them to delete the site from their database.

  @TSP Will it effect on my google search visibility? –And also, copyscape.com is warning me.

  It can have an effect on SEO since the two sites will be competing with one another for ranking.

  Wait.. I’m still the owner of this blog in Google Webmasters and Google Analytics. :-) Let me solve this problem by self. I think I can do it. I’ll again ask the forums if I need any help.
