WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH WORDPRESS ?? :-) Please Help!?!!

    Okay.. I’ve been blogging and starting to take it really serious and the stats were sky-high. I’ve always used my blackberry app, and with just the BB App I could reach 70-80 000 views per month. Now I’ve been failing to post ANYTHING with an image on the post.. [I run an entertainment blog].. I have albums and artists to review but I can’t because I can’t publish anything with an image… Just this morning I couldn’t post an article with a few links.

    I understand they said they’ve stopped upgrading the BB app but does that mean I can no longer use the BB even if its an old version ??

    1. I can’t publish because of that damn 301. Moved permanently error.. What the hell is that ? How do I find the solution for it ?? Is it because I dong have a custom domain that this is happening [ http://KhoolKakhulu.WordPress.com ]..

    2. Since the BB app is no longer “active” in terms of WordPress, does this mean. I can no longer post on it ?? Cause its seriously easier than the Desktop version.

    3. I dont have any plugins on my admin dashboard. This is my 2nd blog, I deleted the first 1 cause it was a personal 1, I’ve seen some YouTube videos of where the plugin option is in the menu by I don’t have it AT ALL!!! Again do only sub-domain website experience this harsh treatment from WordPress ?

    4. I’m on my tablet right now and I just tried making a post everything looked great while HTML mode and seeing all the link encrypted there, I preview the post and the links are literally invisible. So I change to text mode and the links are still not visible but when I go back to HTML mode the links appear there with their encryption and all ..

    Maybe if we were allowed to affiliate blogs we’d have money to upgrade to premium .

    Is there anyone who can help with ANY of these problems I’m experiencing ??

    Doesn’t exist, so nobody can help you with that.

    https://koolheadz.wordpress.com/ there’s your blog. I see no 301 error. WHAT 301 error? Nobody can help you with it if you don’t tell us what the error is and when it occurs.

    2) It should probably still work for awhile, until WP.com eventually makes enough changes that they are completely incompatible. Try with a throwaway post and see what happens.

    3) There are no plugins on WordPress.com blogs. There never have been. There basically never will be. You didn’t read the beginner instructions before you began. https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    4) You can’t use encrypted Paypal links on a WordPress.com blog. Text mode and HTML mode are the same thing, so I don’t know what you’re saying here.

    5) Most blogs created specifically to make affiliate income lose money, because of the hosting costs of $120 a year and up.

    6) Maybe you’d get better help if you didn’t swear at people, hon.

    I haven’t used a BlackBerry, but I would think that if the app still runs on your phone it would still be able to publish to WordPress. No longer supported apps essentially mean they run until they don’t and there won’t be any upgrades to fix any new issues.

    Regarding the first issue:
    Did you change your site URL? the khoolkakhulu.wordpress.com that you posted doesn’t exist. If you are trying to publish to that address, but your URL is actually koolheadz.wordpress.com that is probably the reason.

    I would try removing the site from your Blackberry app and then re-adding it. Removing the site from the app won’t remove it from WordPress.com.

    Your point 3: plugins. WordPress.com does not allow installing of plugins. If you want to be able to use plugins you need to have a self-hosted WordPress site using the software from WordPress.org. There is nothing harsh about this; there’s lots of reasons for it. If you want to know more about this try to Google for “the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org”. There is lots written about it.

    Issue 4: If you see links in HTML but not in the Visual editor, I would guess that the link text is not there. Here’s some info on HTML links and their formatting http://htmldog.com/reference/htmltags/a/
    What I mean is a link looks like <a href="http://example.com">This might be missing</a>
