    The theme on that site is called Monochrome. That theme is very old and retired at this moment, so it can no longer be activated.

    Instead, we suggest choosing a new theme from our theme gallery at https://wordpress.com/themes. Especially, newer themes that support Full Site Editing are more powerful and customizable, allowing you to edit nearly every part of your site with ease.

    The WordPress.com Business plan will allow you to choose from an even wider array of WordPress themes. So if you have another theme from a third-party source that you’d like to use on your site, you can choose the Business plan, which allows third-party themes and plugins.
