What theme is this please?

Can anyone tell me what this theme is please as I quite like it? It usually tells me when I click on the follow icon and it mentions it at the top but this one doesn’t for some reason.

Hello @sharonharvey2,
That theme is called Titan. But it has been retired from WordPress themes. Read more about it here: https://theme.wordpress.com/retired/titan/However, you can browse the WordPress Theme Showcase or go to: https://wordpress.com/themes, and look for a similar looking theme if there’s one.
Hope this helps :)

@sharonharvey2 Themes are retired when they can no longer use all the new functions that WordPress.com are constantly rolling out. Some retired themes don’t display correctly on smaller screens for instance (although there is a “mobile” option workaround for many of them).
However, saying all that, if you did want to use the Titan theme you still should be able to. As your account was set up before the theme was retired you could still activate it by clicking on “Appearance” “Themes” in your wp-admin dashboard.

Yes thank you @otpidusprime , thank you for your help X
@themagicrobot, ah right, thank you for that info, makes sense, my theme I am told is very old and will be retired soon….trying to find one similar to it, and the Titan one came up, trust me to pick one that’s also retired!!
That bit of info about going into the admin Dashboard was most helpful as I did try the other way and it kept saying ‘No themes available’
I will see if I can find one that I like but so far not having much look lol
Before I go… I do notice some themes say ‘powered’ by wordpress, but they have a different theme I cannot find…what does that mean can you tell me…I have a feeling it’s all going to be a little too technical for me though lol

Here at WordPress.com we can “only” choose from the 379 free or Premium themes in the link @otpidusprime already gave you.
Coincidentally, I too have been looking for a new theme today as mine is so ancient that it isn’t just retired. It is in a care home. I’ve been looking at the Twenty Seventeen theme as it is brand new. I think it came out yesterday! But it is far too swish for me. I’ve decided I’m going to stick with my retired theme for as long as WordPress.com let me for the simple reason that it keeps my site looking different from the herd. There are too many similar-looking themes out there for my liking.
PS: Those “powered by WordPress” themes will have been designed for self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software and consequently not suitable for here.

@themagicrobot, you can keep using your old themes as long as you like but remember there might be issues as the web technologies and WordPress grows and update’s and if that’s not a topic of your concern then it’s okay! You can keep using your theme :)

Thank you once again for that info..I did wonder if that was more the wordpress org part….
Well, best continue looking as I’m guessing I’m going to have to change at some point!
Thanks everyone.
