What theme to choose?

  Hi Everyone,

  I’m new to WordPress and I am feeling very overwhelmed with all the Themes out there. I’m a hair and make-up artist that wants to set up a simple website to post blogs and photos with a direct link to Instagram. Can someone please suggest a few themes?

  You can customize lots of themes to fit your style and do what you want, so your personal taste and preferences will be what decides which one ends up working best for your.

  Here are a few that you could check out to get started… Some are more traditional blogging format, while others are more magazine-style, in case you’re interested in that type of layout.

  On second thought…I just tried adding the Instagram Widget, but it’s not working. When I click ‘Authorize Instagram Access’ nothing happens.

  How can I post a “gallery” of images under my “Gallery” menu. I want to add pictures under that menu.

  If you want a page for your Gallery, first publish a new page called Gallery and link to it from your menu. (Right now that link doesn’t have anywhere to go.)

  Then when editing the page, click the “add media” icon and then you can upload images and select them for your gallery. This page explains how to do that and has screenshots to help you find your way around: https://en.support.wordpress.com/gallery/
