What to do about disappearing comments?

  A loyal reader who often comments on my blog says that sometimes his and other comments appear one day but then disappear on other days. Is this a WordPress glitch? If so, how to correct it?

  When I check my dashboard and the blog itself, the comments that I have been told have disappeared are still in place.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I’m a bit confused. The comments disappeared on your site, but are still there? The comments are viewable by yourself but not by that specific user?

  Yes. I can see the comments but the user, who posted one of the comments, cannot see his comment or the one he responded to. He thought I had deleted them, but I did not do so, and, as I stated, I can still view them.

  Can you ask the user for a screenshot of the page where his comment was deleted with the URL? Then upload that to your Media > Library and I can take a further look.
