what to do if verification email will not send?

  Hi, I’ve waited for about 2 hours for the email which is supposed to verify my account. I asked to have it re-sent a few times, and also made sure the address was right. I even tried to send it to a separate email, but still there is no verification email in my inbox.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Resending is a fruitless gesture. Please check in your email client spam/ junk mail filter as well as your “social” tab in Gmail, if you use it. I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.   Hey Allison,

  I’m going to send an email to the address with which you registered your site.

  Could you respond at your earliest convenience so I know that a) it IS your email address and b) that emails from WordPress.com are getting to you.

  I have been waiting for my verification code for a while as well, and I have asked it to resend multiple times and also checked the “social” tab in gmail, but I have still received nothing.

  I never received the confirmation email, tried resending the confirmation many times; days, weeks or i guess it had been over month, but not able to get the confirmation email.
