What to do when ‘Sign me up!’ for a blog E-mail subscription does not send an E-mail?

When you try to sign up for an E-mail subscription to a blog, it says to click on ‘contact us’ if no confirmation E-mail is sent. That takes me to this page for posting a question, but a public forum does not seem to be an appropriate method to report a problem that requires the involvement of an administrative employee of the web site.
I have tried to sign up for this E-mail subscription several times in the last few days and no confirmation E-mail was received. The blog is ‘Portraits of Wildflowers’.
I was subscribed to this blog for probably several years a few years ago. Then when I stopped receiving E-mail about new posts, I assumed that there had been no more postings. Apparently this blog has continued with regular posting the entire time.

Can you please give the complete URL of the site you’re trying to subscribe to? Blog titles are not unique, so we cannot find the site in our system using only the title, Portraits of Wildflowers.
Are you trying to subscribe using the same email address used for your WordPress.com account in https://wordpress.com/me/account/, or are you using a different email address? If a different email, please reply with it here. Type the email on its own line, and it will be hidden automatically so only staff can see it.
