what to do with an unneeded site?

  I created a site, “medpreneurship”, but didn’t add much content to it. I find that I don’t need the site right now, but may resurrect in the future. Is it better to leave the site as it is, or to delete the site? And if I leave it unused for now, is there a way to make it “private”?

  Deletion of a blog URL is forever. The URL cannot be recycled and reused by you or anyone else.

  Make the blog private > Settings > Reading http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
