what to do with mapping once you change to wordpress.org?

    Hello!
I’m trying to change my wordpress.com blog to a self-hosted wordpress.org account. I already bought the hosting and installed the WP software on my domain. The problem is that to transfer the info from .com to .org I need to IMPORT and I cannot access the .org account because I have been mapping the .com blog already on that same domain. Do I have to cancel the mapping for that domain so that i can have access to the .org account and import the info from the .org? what consecuences can that bring?
    Thank you!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You need to make friends over at WordPress.ORG the keepers of the software you are now using. http://wordpress.org/support/

Talk with your host, they should be able to give you a temporary log-in / link to your site that you an use while you set the site up. Once the new site is set up then change where the mapping goes, maybe add domain forwarding if your base blog had much traffic (your-site.wordpress.com)

You can change the mapping now but then all visitors to your custom domain name will end up on an “Under Construction” site.

    Thank you very much!
I’ll go to the .org support page! I won’t cancel the mapping then yet!
