What to do with my WP.com site while site redirect is in place

    Hi,

    There are lots of guides about how to set up site redirect, but there’s hardly anything about what to do with the old WP.COM after the redirect has been set up.

    I’m moving my blog to a WP.ORG site.

    Do I:

    1. Leave the WP.COM site in place?
    2. Set the WP.COM site to private?
    3. Delete the WP.COM site completely?
    4. Delete the posts on the WP.COM site?
    5. Something else?

    I’d appreciate some guidance.
