What value does search engines give to 'section titles' if the 'page attribute'
-
Hi,
My site developer introduced me to the concept of the expanding section under the page attribute. I like it because it organises content well and makes it easy to read and the reader can choose which sections they want to read. However we have implemented Yoast and it does not seem to give value to information under the ‘expanding sections’. I was therefore wondering, what value google/other search engines would give to the ‘section titles’ of expanding sections. Eg. is it seen as H1 or H2 or is it not recognised? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello,
I just want to clarify which site you’re talking about, since the Yoast plugin is available for WordPress.com Business plans — or on a WordPress.org site.
The site you have linked is a free WordPress.com site, and those sites don’t have access to the plugin you mention. Can you confirm which site you need help with?
Here’s more on the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

One additional note of clarification: this forum is for WordPress.com support, so if your site is a WordPress.org site, you may need to head elsewhere for help.

Thank you for clarifying. Your site is using WordPress.org with a different host, not WordPress.com.
You may want to seek help in the WordPress.org forums, or since your question is specific to the Yoast plugin, you may want to seek out the forums that are specific to those plugins.

Good luck!
