What version of WordPress does WordPress.com run currently?

  Wondering about this (and failed to find it on the site after 15 minutes of looking). Specific reason for asking is that I’m trying things out with a local copy of the code, discovered the Format feature, which I’d be keen to use on my main blog, so hoping you upgrade to 3.1 or beyond soon. Thanks.
